This recipe is for Cockle Jjamppong
Ingredients
Pre-cooked ark clam meat
Seasoning sauce (red pepper powder, soy sauce,
sesame oil, minced garlic, vinegar)
Vegetables (chives, green onion, chili peppers)
Preparation
Step 1
Soak the cockles in saltwater to remove any sand, then rinse them thoroughly.
Boil water in a pot and cook the cockles. When the cockles begin to open, reduce the heat and let them simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Then, turn off the heat and allow the residual heat to finish cooking them.
Step 2
Heat a pan and add onion, garlic, and green onion. Saute them until they become lightly golden.
Next, add jjamppong sauce (50g per serving) and mix in water or dashi broth to adjust the soup to your desired consistency.
Step 3
Once the soup is ready, add the cockle and noodles immediately.
Let it boil for 5–7 minutes to complete the jjamppong.
